Installations

I have always loved collecting things and enjoy grouping them together into mini installations. During my Masters, I started making objects to add into this mixture of found and made installations.

To understand my ‘muses’ better, I made a collection of paper mache jellyfish which I suspended ‘in flight’ in a make-shift Oceanspace. I like to add in light which can pull together many elements, giving the viewer an easier calming experience. My experience and symptoms of having both Irlen Syndrome and dyslexia, have been aided by the use of coloured lenses. I try to wear these during my painting practice.
